Pixel Paint is a calm app for coloring and creating pixel art — the kind of thing you open to unwind, not to chase a high score. It's made by two people who like building small, gentle apps together.
Who we are
We're not a company or a big studio — just two people who make small, calm apps together, and Pixel Paint is one of them. We build the sort of apps we'd want to use ourselves: gentle, uncluttered and happy to work offline. No pressure, no endless pop-ups — just a quiet canvas and a bit of color. Pixel Paint started from one simple idea: that filling a grid square by square is one of the most relaxing little rituals there is, and it should be free and easy for anyone to enjoy.
The two of us are Nadya Yashchuk and Ivan Lukichev, and we handle everything ourselves — design, development and support. We work remotely, and our apps are officially published as a small sole proprietorship registered in Austria; the formal details live in our Impressum. Because it's just the two of us, every app stays personal — we choose what to build, answer our own email, and shape each release around what players actually ask for.
We brought Pixel Paint to the App Store and Google Play in 2026, and we're only getting started — new puzzles, tools and little improvements land all the time.
What Pixel Paint does
Our flagship app, Pixel Paint, turns your photos and ready-made artwork into pixel art coloring puzzles. Import a picture and the app rebuilds it as a grid of tiny squares; then you simply tap to fill each one, color by color, until the image comes to life. It works fully offline, so you can color on a plane, on the sofa, or anywhere the day takes you.

You don't even need to install anything to start. Right here on the site we offer free, no-sign-up tools that run entirely in your browser: a pixel art converter that turns a photo into pixel art, and a grid maker for drawing and printing blank templates from 8×8 to 64×64. We also keep a growing library of pixel art ideas and beginner guides for easy and cute designs.
